Banyule Council Economic Development Team visits the ONJCR Institute
Last week, the Economic Development Team visited the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute in Heidelberg. The team of scientists are pioneering research on diverse types of cancer, such as rare and lung cancer, the leading cause of cancer deaths in Australia.
Recently appointed CEO Professor Marco Herold (pictured above) is internationally recognised for introducing advanced technologies to fast tract the discovery of treatments, significantly improving outcomes for cancer patients.
