Israeli forces raided Gaza’s largest hospital
TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto reported on the Israel-Hamas War. Pinto reports that the IDF carried out an overnight raid on Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital after intelligence reports confirmed that senior Hamas leaders were again using the hospital as a command base. They said that it was targeting top Hamas officials who had regrouped at Al-Shifa, and that its soldiers returned Hamas’s fire.
The military said soldiers were conducting a “precise operation” and were fired upon when they entered the compound. “The troops responded with live fire and hits were identified. Our troops are continuing to operate in the area of the hospital,” it added.
The largest hospital in Gaza, the facility has been a hotspot in the conflict between Israel and the United States spy services, who suspect Hamas of using it as a command centre; Hamas disputes these claims.
In northern Gaza, Israeli forces have detonated the longest terror tunnel discovered to date while armed squads have begun protecting humanitarian aid entering Gaza City and the Jabalia refugee camp.
