Roxburgh Park assault investigation continues
Police continue to investigate the alleged assault of a 14-year-old boy which occurred in Roxburgh Park on Sunday, December 12.
Investigators have been told the boy was at a cricket ground on James Miram Drive with friends about 2pm when he was approached by a group of males.
It’s believed at least two of the group assaulted the boy and he was rendered unconscious after being hit with a baseball bat.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment with a laceration to his head.
Investigators have made a number of enquires in relation to the incident and are releasing CCTV footage and an image of five people they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
